| Restylane is a natural
cosmetic filler. It is a non-animal-based
form of hyaluronic acid and therefore does
not require an allergy pretest. Restylane
is a clear gel that adds volume and fullness
to fill in facial wrinkles and folds. The
results of the Restylane treatment last
longer than collagen, typically 6 to 12
months.
Improvement can be seen immediately after
the injection and there is no down time
associated with this procedure. Restylane
injection is performed in the office setting
with the use of just local anesthetic.
